Idowu Philips, a seasoned Nollywood actress better known by her stage name Iya Rainbow, has gotten feedback from fans and colleagues in the entertainment business after sharing a video of herself praying for Nigeria in Jerusalem.
She could be seen near the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem with her hands lifted in prayer in the Instagram video she posted. She said as her caption,
“I’m in Jerusalem all thanks to you Nigeria.”
She received rapid feedback from followers and coworkers, some of whom praised her for her commitment to prayer for the nation and others of whom chastised her conduct.
On fan wrote, ”Prayer ya being prayin since 1945 we need to pray to ogun lakaye this time he fastly answer prayer than strange jesus Na everyday una dey go church,mountain pray for nigeria na stil be same using bible and dem quran. swea nothing hapPen people need to Wise Up
Another commented, “Mama we didn’t need prayer anymore nah common sense will need , God has already gave us everything, we didn’t need prayer for bad Government we choose them , if we want better Nigeria we need to choose as well , mama comot for sun go and relax we love you”
